In particular, the monitoring of lubricants in operation aims to assess the condition of products and estimate their remaining lifespan, as well as detect any mechanical or instrumental issues due to malfunctions.
Thanks to this activity, Niki provides support to clients in optimizing lubricant replacement intervals, significantly reducing consumption and the quantity of waste products to be disposed of, thereby lowering management costs and promoting environmental sustainability.
Accredited laboratory
For analytical controls, the laboratory applies ASTM and ISO standardized methods for petroleum products; the laboratory is equipped with the necessary instruments to carry out all tests according to the official methods.
The laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited.
Organization
Niki operates with its own staff, having in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in relevant sectors, with specific expertise in the formulation and use of lubricating oils and greases.
Experts are available for online support and on-site visits, aimed at evaluating the use of lubricant products and improving their use; they can also conduct technical and management audits.
Furthermore, Niki offers training courses on lubrication and lubricants, both general and specifically tailored to the needs, topics, or issues of individual clients.
Our organization operates in Italy and several foreign countries, mainly in Europe and Asia.
Equipment
The laboratory is equipped with all necessary instruments to properly carry out tests as indicated in the reference analytical methods (ASTM and ISO).
All instruments are calibrated and subject to maintenance as stated in the Quality Manual and company procedures, compliant with the reference standard for laboratory accreditation ISO 17025.
